Made For Now

We design to challenge how time is experienced. It doesn’t just pass – it’s something you live through. Time is our material. Now is our canvas.

Berlin, By Design

Berlin is not just a backdrop. It’s how we think. Shaped by culture and experimentation, we design with intention. Awarded globally – unmistakably: Berlin.

Proven to Perform

Good design is accessible. Backed by a decade of experience, our pieces are crafted with precision and built to be worn daily.

Quartz Watches – Precise, Low-Maintenance, Simply Good

A quartz watch runs. Precisely, reliably, without demanding anything from you. No winding, no wrist-activation, no routine – a new battery every few years, and that's it. Anyone who wants a watch worn every day without needing attention makes no mistake with quartz.

What makes quartz the right choice?

Quartz movements are more accurate than automatic watches – a Japanese quartz movement typically runs at ±20 seconds per month, which in practice means the watch never goes meaningfully wrong. Anyone who doesn't think of their watch as a mechanical object but as a reliable everyday companion makes the more pragmatic decision with quartz. And anyone who would rather invest the budget in design and material quality than in a complex movement gets more for their money with quartz.

The range

Most models in the Lilienthal Berlin range run with quartz – which makes the selection correspondingly broad. From the compact Rosalux through the classic Lilienthal 1 and the Huxley to the chronograph with stopwatch function and the Chronograph Solar with solar charging. Quartz isn't a constraint here – it's the foundation for a variety of designs, functions and characters that no other drive type in the range can match.

Which quartz watch suits me?

Anyone who wants a clean, timeless everyday watch looks at the classic three-handers. Anyone who needs day and date on the dial will find that in the Multimatica. Anyone who wants a stopwatch function reaches for the chronograph – conventional or with solar charging that eliminates the battery change entirely. Anyone who wants a particularly elegant model that also works for an evening look is right with The Classic. The filter options help narrow the range down to the right category quickly.

Solar – quartz without a battery

A special variant of quartz is the solar charging in the Chronograph Solar: the dial charges the watch via light – natural and artificial. No battery change, an energy reserve of around five months. Anyone who wants to combine the reliability of quartz with the convenience of a maintenance-free drive will find the most natural option here.

The strap

All models can be combined tool-free with a different strap – between leather, mesh, steel-link and rePET. Anyone who wants to make their watch more versatile can add a second strap at purchase. The character of the watch shifts noticeably – which makes every quartz watch in the range even more flexible than it already is.
